性质描述:

淡黄色油状液体，有刺激性气味，不可燃。凝固点-10℃。沸点239℃，68-70℃（0.133-1.173kPa），相对密度1.7091（25/4℃），折射率1.5658，无闪点。可溶于乙醚、四氯化碳等有机溶剂中，不溶于水。在氯化铁存在下，加热到90-95℃可生成二聚体。

生产方法:

由环戊二烯分两步氯化而得。第一步氯化在90℃进行，氯气与环戊二烯的重量配比为1：（0.24-0.34），反应生成含4-6个氯的氯代环戊烷。第二步氯化在高温下进行，反应温度500-510℃，多氯环戊烷与氯气的摩尔配比为1：（6-8）。另外，用石油戊烷为原料，经光氯化和高温氯化合成六氯环戊二烯，收率为70%左右。

用途:

主要用来制取有机氯杀虫剂、艾氏剂、荻氏剂、氯丹及耐燃塑料。
