性质描述:

无色透明液体。有醚的气味。熔点-33.0℃，沸点74.0℃，相对密度1.3249，黏度（20℃）8.58×10-4Pa?s，折光率1.43838。不溶于水，溶于乙醇、氯仿、苯、丙酮、四氯化碳、甲醇、乙醚等有机溶剂。不燃、低毒。表面张力低（25℃时为2.5Pa）。具有高效、多功能的溶解能力，对金属惰性，低潜热，高蒸气密度，高渗透能力，化学稳定性好等。在水、强光、热或电弧的影响或某些盐类的诱导作用下可能发生水解反应，生成光气、氯气、氯化氢、亚乙烯基氯等产物。

生产方法:

1.乙烷氯化法由乙烷（或乙烯）氯化制得。2.偏二氯乙烯氢氯化法由偏二氯乙烯与氯化氢经催化加成而得。3.氯乙烯氢氯化法由氯乙烯与氯化氢作用，制得偏二氯乙烯，再经氯化而得。

用途:

不燃性溶剂，可作清洗剂，清洗电子零部件，也可作金属脱脂的清洗剂。还可利用本品的低表面张力和高渗透能力的特性，测定金属焊接处的泄漏，也可用作气溶胶烟雾剂、耐火焰涂层材料、切削油冷却剂和制作低毒不燃的粘合剂。偏三氯乙烷的衍生物是有效的杀虫剂，制药工业的中间体。经氯化可制1,1,1,2-四氯乙烷。经脱氯化氢可制偏二氯乙烯。
